All About Aero 2025

Join Ayrshire College, SmartSTEMs, DYW Ayrshire and many others for the 2025 ‘All About Aero’ event.

The event aims to:

· Raise awareness about the aerospace sector

· Highlight the types of careers available locally and beyond

· Promote the many opportunities available to young people

· Strengthen existing partnerships between industry and education

Ayrshire College, Ayr Campus, Dam Park Building, Refectory, 9.00am - 1.00pm

Target audience
S4, S5 and S6 pupils from all Ayrshire secondary schools. 120 spaces available.

At the Event

Exhibitor Stalls

Pupils will have the chance to chat to industry representatives and find about careers in the aerospace, and other related sectors. They’ll also be able to get information on aeronautical courses available at college.

Workshop

Pupils will take part in a short workshop delivered by SmartSTEMs.

Tour

Ayrshire College staff will take pupils on a tour of the Aeronautical Building. They can see the facilities, meet current students and get an idea of what to expect should they decide to come to college.
